The Skate Park is closed on Tuesdays from 9 am - 3 pm

 

Our goal is for your safe enjoyment of this facility. The City of Costa Mesa and Volcom are proud to present this Skate Park to you. Please be courteous of others and have a safe skating experience.

 

GENERAL SKATE PARK RULES

 

  1. Skating is a Hazardous Activity - Skate at your own risk. The City of Costa Mesa is not liable for injuries pursuant to California Health and Safety Code 115800 & 115800.1.

  2. Only Skateboards and roller skates are allowed. ALL other uses are prohibited. Bicycles and BMX bikes are prohibited.

  3. Helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads that are commercially manufactured and in good condition must be worn at all times while skating. All helmets and pads must be fastened while skating.

  4. No unauthorized obstacles, materials, or other pieces of equipment are allowed in the Skate Park .

  5. Skating is prohibited on curbs, planters, benches, steps, railing, parking lot and driveways of the skate park and other City owned areas.

  6. No alcohol, drugs, tobacco are allowed in the Skate Park . Being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is prohibited while in the skate park.

  7. No graffiti, tagging, littering, gum, stickers or other items are allowed in the Skate Park . No part of the Skate Park can be defaced by any means.

  8. No portable or personal radios, stereos, CD players, speakers, MP3 players, headphones or other amplified music is allowed in the Skate Park

  9. Spectators are not allowed in the bowls, features, elements, or on the skate surface.

  10. All trash must be placed within the trash receptacles provided. No glass containers are allowed in the Skate Park .

  11. No skate boarding or roller skating on wet surfaces.

  12. The Skate Park will be closed during inclement weather.

  13. No trespassing while the facility is closed.

  14. The City of Costa Mesa and/or Volcom are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

 

COURTESY

 

  1. Profanity and/or abusive language, fighting and/or disruptive behavior is prohibited and may result in fine, citation or removal from the Skate Park .

  2. Please skate under control and to your own level.

  3. Do not throw skateboard or in line skates and do not launch skate boards or roller skates toward spectators or other skaters.

  4. Be courteous to others and welcome new skaters.

  5. Give all skaters a chance to skate.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS AS SET FORTH UNDER CMMC TITLE 12 MAY RESULT IN FINE, CITATION OR REMOVAL FROM THE PARK.
